Metric system for windows measurements

"It is recommended to use the metric system when taking measurements for new windows as it is a more accurate method of measurement. If measurements are taken in standard units, they will need to be converted to metric, which increases the potential for inaccuracies. To ensure accurate measurements, it is recommended to take three measurements per side of the window - along the top, middle, and bottom sections. These measurements should be provided to the window manufacturer so that they can create a window that properly fits the window opening. When taking measurements, it is recommended to do so from the outside of the house, as it can be difficult to adjust brickwork or wood siding to make room for a window that is too large."
